Originally from the Loire Valley, Florent Chevreuil founded Ecosse Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery near Edinburgh in 2012.
Florent has been working with wood for 25 years, and has been involved in all aspects of carpentry and joinery, including the design and manufacture of interior and exterior woodwork, two-dimensional woodwork, straight and spiral staircases, technical drawing, laminating and finishing.
His work has included assignments for private residences, shops, hotels, restaurants, churches and a private jet.
In 2007, Florent gained a Brevet de maîtrise (Master’s Certificate) from the Chambre de Métiers (Chamber of Trades). In the UK this is equivalent to an Advanced Diploma in Professional Joinery.
Florent is based in Midlothian just outside Edinburgh, and has a fully-equipped workshop in nearby Dalkeith.
